'Laurel Hill' OB- (Gordon Plough, R.1948). AB, TMB, tall. Late bloom. Bright rosy lavender. 'William Mohr' X ( 'Esplendido' x 'Bruno'). No information on introduction found in AIS checklists.

From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: LAUREL HILL (Plough '49) M-L 30" (Wm. Mohr) X (Esplendido X Bruno). A large, heavy substanced bi-tone of bright rosy-lavender with characteristic Onco veining. While this hardy variety has no pollen it readily sets seed. $1.50
From fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: LAUREL HILL (Plough 1949) M. 36 in Wm. Mohr x (Esplendido x Bruno). One of the most satisfactory of the Mohr seedlings, this has the onco type flower in shades of rosy lavender. Very hardy, free of growth and quite floriferous. 1.25.
 
From Supplement To The Comprehensive Checklist of Aril and Arilbred Iris by Sharon McAllister, April 2000:LAUREL HILL AB (Gordon Plough, R. 1948). Seedling # NIA. TMB, tall, La. William Mohr X (Esplendido x Bruno). AIS Color Class: R7L (red self with red secondary tones). '76 CL: Bright rosy lavender. Court of Iris: "bi-tone of rosy-lavender with characteristic Onco veining." Rainbow: "bright rosy lavender with characteristic Onco veining." Vallette: "rosyred-lavender Mohr." No information on introduction found in AIS Checklists. Notes: An OB- in both systems. Ref: AIS '49, p. 145; ASI '76, p. 50; Vallette, p. 190.
