'Mehetabel' OGB (Lois Rich, R. 1984). Seedling R76-27B. AB, 30" (76 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards deep mauve purple, veined deeper; dark maroon styles; falls black maroon, darker at center; light flecks around dark purple black beard, tipped dark bronze. Seedling R65-17E: (Kerr seedling 56-4-0 x Clark seedling: (Austin seedling OY-40 x I. susiana)) X Dunn seedling M68-279A: ('Jungle Shadows' x 'Commentary'). Melrose Gardens, 1984.
