'Moab' OB- ( Stafford Jory by Phillip Edinger, R. 1979). AB (1/4), 30" (76 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards light brown, heavily washed dark brown and sometimes splashed maroon; Falls golden brown, heavily washed dark brown and sometimes splashed maroon. ( 'Grace Mohr' x ( 'King Midas' x 'Alta California')) X 'Capitola'. Stafford Jory, 1949.

From The Court Of Iris catalog, 1955: MOAB (Jory '49) EM (Grace Mohr Seedling X Capitola). The full Mohr type blooms are brown, of a strange and exotic appearance. $2.50.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: MOAB (Jory 1949) E. M. 32 in. (Grace Mohr x ?) x Capitola. A flaring, broad petaled flower of onco appearance done in deep brown shades. 1.00.
