From Supplement To The Comprehensive Checklist of Aril and Arilbred Iris by Sharon McAllister, April 2000: OYEZ AB (Clarence G. White, R. 1938). Seedling # NIA. IMB, medium height, midseason. Polyhymnia X Jubilee. AIS Color Class: W8D. (white ground with dark red feathering). '76 CL: White with red patterning and veining. Rainbow: "Rounded pinkish white standards, etched with veins of dark rose; falls horizontally flaring, pinkish cream, strikingly and precisely veined in blackish maroon, culminating in a signal of the same color." Vallette: "lovely small pinkish white, veined dark rose; creamy F. have dark maroon signal." White 1938. Notes: An 0GB (diploid) in both systems. Ref: AIS '39, p. 415; ASI '76, p. 63; Vallette, p. 178.
