'Pied Beauty' OGB (A. A. Samuelson by Elm Jensen, R. 1983). Seedling VRAS2. AB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards pale lavender, violet flush at base of midrib, some violet flecking; Falls pale lavender, heavily washed and veined violet outward from beard, leaving a narrow base of pale lavender at edge; dark violet wash around purple bronze beard giving effect of a signal. T. Abell seedling.: ('Lucia' x unknown yellow TB) X Simonet seedling: ((I. hoogiana_ x 'Macrantha') x 'Ib-Mac'). Aril Society, 1983.
