(AB) 'Purple Opal'

1959, Lewis

'Purple Opal' (Charles H. Lewis, R. 1954) Eupogocyclus hybrid. TB, 32" (81 cm). Midseason bloom. Wine-purple bitone, near self, Falls velvety, few haft marks. 'Ormohr' X 'Red Valor'. Lewis 1959.

NOTE: This iris has not been accepted as an arilbred by the Aril Society International because it does not exhibit the aril characteristics necessary for ASI acceptance.
