■(AB) 'Sheba's Jewel'

1994, Shockey

'Sheba's Jewel' (Howard Shockey, R. 1994). Seedling 90-112-D. AB (OGB), height 28" (71 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, slight maroon basal flush; falls white, large sharp crescent-shaped maroon purple signal; beards light bronze; rounded form; slight sweet fragrance. 'Seraph's Jewel' X 'Queen Sheba'. Arilian Acres 1994. Honorable Mention 1996; Award of Merit 1998; White Medal 2000.

From AIS Bulletin #292 January 1994 Introducing SHEBA'S JEWEL (H. Shockey) AB 1/2 (OGB) 28". Beautiful, broad, rounded white with slight maroon flushing on style arms and base of stds. Falls have good recurve with large crescent-shaped signal of maroon-purple. Good performer. From two fine parents: Seraph's Jewel and Queen Sheba--a real jewel! $25.00. Arilian Acres.
