'Smooth As Silk' OGB- (Mark Rogers, R. 1978). Seedling 70-2-B. AB (1/2), 27-29" (69-74 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards purplish maroon, lightly veined; Falls deep rose maroon; dark V-shaped signal at end of brown-tipped beard, lighter area on each side of beard. (('Kalifa Kabul' x 'Jallah Effendi') x 'Saracen Prince') X 'Habibi'. Cordon Bleu Farms, 1979. [PP] Honorable Mention 1981.
