Standards cream, primrose yellow veining; deeper styles, striped green; Falls primrose yellow; dotted garnet brown around sharp maroon signal, lower petal chartreuse green, occasional violet flecking; brown beard. From Foster Iris catalog, 1975: SUNSPUN (Foster) E-M. 27". Standards are cream veined Primrose Yellow RHS 601/1. Stylecrests deeper RHS 601 striped green. The recurved falls are Primrose Yellow 601/2 dotted garnet-brown around the sharp maroon signal and smooth brown beard. Occasional violet flecking: The lower fall is chartreuse-green. A sib of SPICED WINE, ARIL ARROW, JUDEAN JEWEL and GARDEN OF BABYLON. Useful for breeding - the only yellow among many of various violet tones. Seedling #72-10-7.
