2010, Baumunk

'Xerxes' ( Lowell Baumunk, R. 2009) Oncogeliabred. Seedling #903. AB, height 25" (64 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards lavender blending to yellow at hafts, some beard hairs at inner hafts; style arms bright yellow; falls tan prominently washed red from small maroon signal to within ½" of edges; beards deep yellow. Shockey seedling 94-101-B: ('Turkish Pendant' x 'Energizer') X 'Turkestan'. Iris Colorado 2010. Honorable Mention 2012, Award of Merit 2014, White Medal 2016.
