| From Supplement To The Comprehensive Checklist of Aril and Arilbred Iris by Sharon McAllister, April 2000: ANCILLA AR (C. G. Van Tubergen, NR). Sdlg # NIA. AR, 12" (30 cm), M. Parentage unknown. No description in '76 CL. Court of Iris: "S white, veined soft blue; F netted grey brown with black signal patch." Van Tubergen, 1957. Notes: The Court of Iris Catalog says that it "could be from I. nazarena"; the '76 committee attributed its introduction to Mount Clare in 1969; the Court of Iris reported it as regeliocyclus x onco, which would make it a quantum-system OG. Ref: AIS '79, p. 7; ASI '76, p. 10.
