'Bronze Satyr' ( Lloyd Austin, 1961). Not registered. AR, 12" (30 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards cream, veined lavender; Falls bronze, veined maroon; maroon signal. Probably from I. auranitica . Court of Iris 1961.

ORIGINAL CATALOG DESCRIPTION. From The Court of Iris catalog, 1961: BRONZE SATYR. This is a striking flower of pure Onco ancestry, probably from a form of I. auranitica, The domed standards are of a light tan-yellow with an intricate, all-over pattern in veins of lavender, Olive-bronze falls veined maroon with a signal the same. M 12" (Austin '61 ). $15.00.
