Parentage Unknown, probably I korolkowii X I stolonifera. AIS Color Class: R9M (redbitone ). '76 CL: Ruby-red bloom, electric blue beard. Rainbow: "pomegranate or wine red.. deep violet blue, the bluest beard of any Iris. Graceful flowers with narrow, erect standards, narrow down-hanging falls .. . Pollen bright green." Vallette: "purplish ruby; long and pointed form, bright blue beard." Syn: Turkoman. Van Tubergen, 1916. Notes: Name approved; registered as an RC, and counted as a 32-chromosome triploid, but this pedigree would make it an RH in both systems.
