Rainbow: "A distinct bitone, with standards deeper than the falls. Standards and style crests soft amethyst, veined in violet-black. Falls large, wide and long, silvery white sharply veined in dark maroon, with a blackish- maroon signal." Carl Salbach, 1929. Notes: not registered, but name noted as approved in '39 CL.
