'Persian Pansy' OG (Lloyd Austin by Aril Society, R. 1969). AR, 12-16" (30-41 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Pansy purple, veined deeper; yellow throat; large black signal; beard dark yellow, tipped tan. I. nigricans X I. hoogiana 'Late Amethyst'. Court of Iris, 1960.
