1983, Danielson

'Viking Tiger' RC (Luella Danielson, R. 1983). Seedling AL 82-6. AR, 17" (43 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards slight lavender, veined darker; Falls lavender maroon, veined and dotted maroon; dark maroon signal; brown beard. 'Aril Landmark' X Shahak 211. Pleasure Iris Gardens, 1984.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing VIKING TIGER (Luella Danielson) Sdlg. AL-82-6 (HC) 17", M. S. light lavender with darker veining; F. lavender, veined and dotted maroon, white striations at hafts; brown beard. Two blooms per stem. Stylearms finely dotted maroon; very dark signal. Fertile both ways and an excellent grower. Landmark X Shahak 211. $15.00. Pleasure Iris Gardens.
