■(BB) 'Apricot Topping'

1997, Black

'Apricot Topping' ( Paul Black, R. 1997). Seedling 8924A. BB, height 25" (64 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards apricot orange, slight violet midrib infusion; style arms apricot orange; falls blended wine red darkest in center, apricot to white rays around orange beard, apricot rim and petal reverse; ruffled, lightly laced; slight sweet fragrance. 'Spiced Cider' X 'Glitz 'n Glitter'. Mid-America 1997. Honorable Mention 1999; Award of Merit 2001.
