Standards pastel pink, slightly paler toward edges; style arms pale peach; falls creamy pink, ivory center, darker pink hafts and edges; beards tangerine; ruffled, laced; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling #K53A: ('La Valse' x 'Funny Girl') X seedling #K59D: (''Lotus Land'' x 'Keeping Up Appearances'). Mid-America 2010. Honorable Mention 2012; Award of Merit 2014. Knowlton Medal 2017.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2010: BALLERINA PINK (Black ‘10) BB. Midseason-Late 27” (69cm). She's surrounded by pretty ruffles and lace and perfectly on point. What a breathtaking picture this ballerina makes! Pastel pink standards pale slightly toward edges. Styles are pale peach. Creamy pink falls are darker toward margins and over hafts. Flowers are perfectly poised and balanced with precise proportions expected of the finest border bearded iris. Show stalks have 3 branches and 8-10 buds. Strong, healthy plants insure a long performance. Total quality. Sdlg. N181B: (La Valse x Funny Girl) X (Lotus Land x Keeping Up Appearances). $35.00.
