'Bayadere' ( Opal Brown, R. 1961). Seedling #9-18-B1. BB, height 26" (66 cm), Midseason bloom. Metallic-brown self, edges laced. 'Bang' X (( 'Chantilly' x 'Pretty Quadroon') x 'Mary Randall'). Brown's Sunnyhill Garden 1962. Honorable Mention 1963; Judges Choice 1963, 1964; Knowlton Medal 1965.

Bayadere (Opal Brown). A metallic-brown self as seen at Baker’s Acre. The well-branched stalks are topped with large, laced, well-formed blooms. [AIS Bulletin #170, July 1963:43]
