Seedling #886-5H: ( 'Datebook' x 'San Leandro') X seedling #886-5L. Corlew 1986. Honorable Mention 1990.

From AIS Bulletin #262 July 1986 Introducing CHANGE ARTIST $25.00. (Glenn F. Corlew 1986). A pert little Border that is a lUscious shade of lavender-pink when freshly opened. Then as the lavender disappears it lightens to a clear pink. Beautiful in all stages and delightful in a clump showing blooms in the various shades. Beard remains a constant tangerine. It has maintained proper size and proportion since the first bloom in 1981. We hope it will be the same in your garden. Seedling #1110·1A. 26". Midseason ((Datebook X San Leandro) x Sib). Both of the parent seedlings were sibs to Spellmaker and Prominent. Cherry Lane Gardens.
