1986, Hamblen

'Copper Gaze' ( Melba Hamblen, R. 1985) Seedling #M79-2A. BB, 24" (61 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards yellow (RHS 13B); falls yellow (14C), cinnamon (172C) hafts and beard; ruffled and laced. 'Picayune' X 'Sienna Star'. Mission Bell 1986. Honorable Mention 1988.

From AIS Bulletin #260 January 1986 Introducing COPPER GLAZE. 24", EL. Glowing yellow (RHS 13B) standards. Falls slightly deeper (14C). A cinnamon colored cape lies gently over the shoulders ending at the tips of cinnamon beards. Ruffled and laced. Well branched, 7 buds. #H79-2A. HC 1985. $30.00. Mission Bell.
