'Desperado' ( Keith Keppel, R. 1979). Seedling 72-43C. BB, height 26" (66 cm) Midseason bloom. Standards greenish yellow (M&P 10-I-1), edges sanded grayed violet (45-D-3); falls pale marguerite yellow (10-C-1) to warm white, narrow grayed violet (44-F-7) sanded edge; darker, rosier purple hafts overlaid java brown; white to yellow beard faintly tipped bronze. 'Roundup' X seedling #68-22F: ( 'Montage' x ((( 'Gene Wild' x 'Majorette';) x 'Rococo') x 'Ballyhoo' sibling)). Keppel 1979. High Commendation 1978, Honorable Mention 1981, Award of Merit 1983.
