'Double Banded' (Carl Boswell, R. 1987). Seedling #84-80-3B. BB, 23" (58 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards light yellow with darker midrib and veining; falls medium yellow, inner cream band, edged yellow; white beard tipped yellow. 'Pagan Butterfly' X ( 'Prosperity' x 'Under Gleam'). Adamgrove, Boswell Iris 1988. Honorable Mention 1990.

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing DOUBLE BANDED-BB, 23", M-L. You can see this bright flower from across the garden. Light yellow standards with darker midrib and veining. Medium yellow one-third down falls, then inner band of cream with outer band of yellow. White beards tipped yellow. Sdlg. #84-80-3B: Pagan Butterfly X (Prosperity x Under Gleam). Sib to Banded Butterfly. $20.00. Boswell Iris Garden.
