1964, Brown

'Lavalier' ( Opal Brown, R. 1994). Seedling #81-4D16. BB, 26" (66 cm), Midseason bloom. Lightly ruffled mauve (HCC 633/1) self; beards light tangerine, base mauve. 'Persian Gown' sibling X sibling. Brown's Sunnyhill 1994.

From AIS Bulletin #293 April 1994 Introducing LAVALIER (0. Brown '94) BB, 26", M. Very clean lavender (mauve) with mauve beards overlaid light tangerine. Three well-spaced branches plus spur and terminal. Several ruffled blooms open at a time. Eight buds. 81-4016, inv. Schiaparelli, Instant Charm, Baroque, Saber Dance and Silver Shower. $30.00. Brown's Sunnyhill Gardens.
