'Liege Lord' ( Bruce Filardi, R. 2012) Seedling #BF-553 BB. BB, 25.5 (65 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards palest blue-white (RHS 97D); style arms same, washed bluer toward crest, edged tan; falls dark blue-violet (N88), white area around beard, heavily striped with dark blue-violet and brown (177B) lines; beards based palest yellow, tipped rusty orange N163B); slight spicy fragrance; precisely ruffled; lightly laced.
