'Little Admiral' (Eugene Burger, R. 1975). Seedling #D-18. BB, 20" (51 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards full blue; falls pale blue; yellow beard tipped blue. 'Blue Fantasy' X 'Brook Song'. Gene & Gerry's Iris 1975. High Commendation 1974; Honorable Mention 1976; Award of Merit 1981.

From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing LITTLE ADMIRAL (Burger). $12.50. Sdlg. D-18: Blue Fantasy X Brooksong. BB, M, 20". A delightful border in the reverse class. Deep medium blue standards, contrasting nicely with the light blue falls. Yellow beard tipped blue. Good form and plant proportions. Vigorous grower, with two branches, spur and terminal, having 7 buds. Received HC '74. Gene & Gerry's Iris Gardens.
