From Mission Bell Gardens catalog, 1963: LITTLE SAMBO (C. M. Reynolds) Early to late. 22". Inky black with deep violet undertones and a dark brown beard. Ideal form and branching. Closed standards, heavy horizontal falls, perfectly smooth hafts. A captivating little rogue to add accent to the Border Class. (Black Forest X Storm King). HC '61. No. 52-25. Net 10.00.
