'Little Susie' (Carl Quadros, R. 1967). Seedling #64-136B. BB, 18-24" (46-61 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards white; falls baby ribbon pink; tangerine beard. ((( 'Pin Up Girl' x 'Babys Bonnet') x 'May Hall') x ( 'Casa Morena' x 'Golden Russet')) X 'Mary Randall'. Honorable Mention 1973. C & A Iris Garden 1970.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing LITTLE SUSIE (Quadros 70). E.M. 18" to 2'4". BB. (Pin Up Girl x Baby's Bonnet) X May Hall) x Casa Morena x Golden Russet) X Mary Randall. The pedigree tells you many things about this little one. Standards are pure white and closed. Falls semiflaring, baby ribbon pink slightly ruffled. No other color. Beard tangerine. It has a tendency to rebloom again in the fall. It is not a finished iris and not sold as one; sold only as a breeder. Fertile both ways . NET $20.00. C&A Iris Gardens.
