| From AIS Bulletin #227 Fall 1977 Introducing PEACH SURPRISE (Vallette '77). BB, 24", EM-ML. (Youthful Charm X Java Dove). Closed white S. shaded peach at base; flaring peach F. with tangerine beard. An established plant produced stalks with 3 to 4 branches and subterminal, the lower one (or two) often rebranched with up to 17 buds per stalk. May rebloom in warmer climates as it has shown signs of it even here. Branching and placement are so good that 3, or even 4, flowers may be open at a time with no bunching or crowding so each is perfectly displayed. $20.00. Come 'N' Look Gardens. |
