From AIS Bulletin #316 January 2000 Introducing Persimmon Pie BB, 25" (63.5 cm), E and RE (September in zone 6). Creamy light yellow-orange self with darker beards the color of ripe persimmons. Lightly ruffled. Domed standards. Sturdy stalks with 5-7 buds. Floriferous in spring and the fall. Sweet persimmon fragrance. (Ozark Evening X Roney's Encore). $25.00. Winterberry Gardens.
