1999, Markham

'Simmer' (Lynn Markham, R. 1998) Seedling #92-10B. BB, height 26" (66 cm), Early to midseasn bloom. Standards smoky reddish blend (near Munsell 5RP 3/9), slightly lighter edges with faint gold infusion; falls slightly darker, hafts blended bronze; beards antique gold (near 10YR 7/10); ruffled, flared; slight spicy fragrance. 'Fiddler' X seedling #90-13A: ('Secret Weapon' x 'Ignition'). Markham 1999. High Commendation 1998; Honorable Mention 2003.
