1971, Tompkins

'Sunshine Wine' ( Chet Tompkins, R. 1971) BB, 27 1/2" (69 cm), Early to late midseason bloom. Standards bright amber-gold with gilt overlay; falls rich shade of medium powder blue; bright cream lemon beard. From seedlings involving 'Three Cheers' x 'Color Carnival' and reciprocal crosses and lines from 'Persia'-'Wabash' and 'Persia'-'Shah Jehan' with 'Progenitor', 'Lula Marguerite', 'Glacier Bay'. Fleur de Lis 1971.
