From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing TECATE. $20.00. This border plicata bears the name of a California border town. The white standards are evenly sanded with rosy-violet and the clean falls are precisely edged with markings of the same tone. A white beard complements the fresh crispness of the blooms. Foliage is low and in good proportion with the stalk and bloom size. Has shown a consistant tendency for fall bloom in our California climate. Not tested for fertility. 22-24". Early to midseason. Seedling#235-5A. TAHOLAH X MEMPHIS LASS. Cherry Lane Gardens. |
