2009, Modra

'Vernon Velvet' (Colleen Modra, R. 2009). Seedling #G197-01. BB, 23" (59 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards yellow, faint burgundy veins and midribs; style arms yellow; falls plush plum-burgundy, gold edge and hafts, white with plum veining near gold beards. Sutton seedling, unknown, X 'Faux Pas'.
