‘White Saucer' ( Wilma Vallette, R. 1962). BB, 25" (64 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Flat white self, six falls, no standards. 'Pink Tower' X 'Salmon Fuchsia'. Rainbow Garden 1963. a Novelty Iris

From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: WHITE SAUCER (Vallette '63) ML-25". A thick, waxy white, with 6 falls and no standards; 3 to 6 style arms with stigmas but no anthers. Much like White Parasol, but smaller. The white is lightly dotted & flecked in lavender in a most intriguing manner. Regularly $3.50; on $10 order $2.50; on $25 order $1.95; 3 for $5.25.
