1978 "The World of Irises"

Film "The World of Irises" was first published by The American Iris Society in 1978. The AIS board has graciously allowed us to encorporate segments of its text into this Encyclopedia. It is copyrighted 1978 by AIS and to reproduce any parts permission should be sought from the AIS board.

"The World of Irises" is a classic work for explaining the history and development of The Genus Iris especially the development of irises in the garden. The Encyclopedia has endeavored to provide more illustrations of the text. But this history does stops with its publication and we encourage you to help us work on bringing this history to the present. Join the wiki editing team and help create this historical archive for future generations.
