Juno (Leopold Trattinnick, Ausw. Gartenpfl. i. 135 (1817 ?). The group of Irises called Junos have been in and out of the Genus Iris over the years. Originally described as a Genus by Trattinnick they were included under the Genus Xiphion by Baker in 1777, In 1990 Mathew included them in the genus Iris under the subgenus Scorpiris but Rodionenko still views them as a separate genus.
