Fryer's Nursery

The 1939 Checklist notes: "Willis E. Fryer (1864-1930), Mantorville, Minnesota. Nurseryman specializing in Iris, Peonies, delphiniums, Gladioli, etc. Raised a number of Irises when few people were doing breeding, among the best being 'Dr. Chas. H. Mayo', 'Mrs. Iltis', 'Magnificent of Fryer', 'Kathryn Fryer', 'Fryer's Glory'. The business is beingcarried on by his daughter, Miss Kathryn Fryer under the name Fryer's Nursery. Letters 1920; 1927; 1939."
