'Appleblossom Pink' (
Jack Boushay, R. 1973). Seedling 69-CC-13. IB, height 18" (46 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards Orient pink (Wilson 416/2); falls white in center, darker at edges and hafts (416/3); white beard.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing APPLEBLOSSOM PINK (Jack Boushay '74). 69-CC-13: (One Desire X Lenna M.). IB, 18", E-M. The standards are Orient pink (Wilson 416/2). The falls are almost white with a light border, and the hafts are the same color as the standards but a little lighter (Wilson 416/3). Good form and substance with flaring falls and domed standards. Net $7.50. J&J Iris Garden. |
