'April Fog' (Hooker Nichols by O. David Niswonger, R. 1989). Seedling #IB 31-87. IB, height 20" (51 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards blue; falls very pale blue; blue white beard. 'Captured Spirit' X 'Mystique'. Cape Iris 1990. Honorable Mention 1992.

From AIS Bulletin #277 April 1990 Introducing APRIL FOG (Nichols-Niswonger '90) Captured Spirit X Mystique. IB, 20", Mid. Almost a reverse amoena with blue stds. and near white falls. The beards are blue white and the plant vigorous. $15.00. Cape Iris.
