Dorothy Dennis, R. 1968). Seedling #6611. IB, height 24" (61 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards solid pale yellow faintly dotted cinnamon; falls white marked vivid yellow, yellow border, white area around strong yellow beard.
'Twice Blessed' X unknown. Keppel 1971. Honorable Mention 1972.

From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing BONUS (Dennis). EM. 22". Twice Blessed X unknown. Faint brown stitches and stipples show through from the inside of the soft yellow standards. The yellow falls pale to cream in the center and carry cinnamon haft stitching and golden tan stippling. Styles clear yellow, beard bright yellow; petal parts lightly waved. Stems thin, with two branches and terminal. The bonus? It reblooms! $7.50. Keith Keppel. |
BONUS (Dennis '71)-A more rounded flower than 'Swizzle', it is one having similar plicata coloration. As all Dennis originations, it has good proportion and a mind of its own, for it will throw up flowering stalks almost any time during the growing season.
