(IB) 'Cascade Blue'

1970, Brown

'Cascade Blue' (Alta Brown, R. 1969). Seedling #M 1069-3. IB, height 22" (56 cm), Early bloom. Standards deep moorish blue (Wilson 739/2); falls moorish blue (739/1); light lavender-blue beard. Seedling #60-41-1 ( 'Galilee' x 'Regina Maria') X 'Little Imp'. Brown's Iris Garden 1970.

From AIS Bulletin #197 April 1970 Introducing CASCADE BLUE. Sdlg. M 1069-3. (Galilee x Regina Maria) X Little Imp. E. 22". A deep Moorish blue with lavender beard; flaring falls are a little darker in color. A different color and has great carrying power. Dainty and in good proportion. $7.50. Brown's Iris Garden.
