From Bonnewitz Van Wert Gardens catalog, 1920: CHARMANT. S. very pale blue, with nearly white tips; lighter in shade than Walhalla and Prince Victor, and smaller; foliage 12-15 in.; blooms 15-18 in. 35 cts.
 
From G. G. Whitelegg catalog, 1921: CHARMANT, silvery blue with deeper markings, beard orange, 24 in. extra fine.
