2022, Keppel

'Coal Tar' (Keith Keppel, R. 2021). Seedling 15-166A. IB, 24" (61 cm), Early midseason to late bloom. Standards blue-black (M&P 48-C-12), silky finish; style arms concord (M&P 45-K-12), crest blue-black, edge slate purple (M&P 46-I-6); falls blue-black (darker than M&P 48-C-12), slightly velvet; beards layered mustard/slate/white in throat and middle, ends urania blue (M&P 47-H-12). 'Black Lipstick' X 'Dark Matter'. Keith Keppel Iris 2022. Honorable Mention 2024.
