| From Carl Salbach catalog 1941: COPPER ORANGE (Salbach 1941). No other iris has as rich color and luster as Copper Orange. Dwarf in habit, otherwise it would be a $20.00 iris. Standard coppery orange, falls deeper in color and very rich. According to Ridgeway it is Mars Orange. Blooms of good form and substance. Well-branched stems and a very free bloomer. Rhizomes not large. Midseason, 18". $5.00. |
