From Sunnyside Gardens catalog, 1941: DORIS TAYLOR—(Gage, 1941); pedigree lost. A very rich colored red-purple bicolor with Light Perilla Purple standards, and Blackish Red-Purple falls, The flowers are large, compact, with wide hafts and the substance is very firm and smooth texture, The orange beard is tipped with the same color as falls.
