From Maple Valley Iris Garden catalog, 1937: ELIZABETH HUNTINGTON (Hunt.1929) VE. 24 in. A deep blue with a frosted crepy texture. like that of Zua. They bloom together very early and make good companions. 20c
From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: ELIZABETH HUNTINGTON VE-20". Most remarkable & interesting Intermediate Iris with petals heavily crinkled like crepe paper. Large flowers in lilac-blue, deeper in the falls. Pollen plentiful. Sport of Zua. Reg. $1.00; on $10 order 7Sc; on $25 order 60c; 3 for $1.SS; 10 for $4.65.
