From H. P. Simpson catalog, 1922: FRITJOF (G. & K., 1908) — S. soft lavender; F. soft purple-shaded lavender. One of the early or “intermediate" types. Of good size and growth. 18 inches. 20¢
From Bonnewitz catalog 1920: FRITJOF. S. soft lavender; F. subdued purple shaded lav-ender; similar in all respects to Walhalla, but not quite so good. 35 cts.; $3 a doz.
 
From Meadow Mountain Bulb Farm catalog 1931: FRITJOF. S. lavender blue. F. deep blue, edged lavender. 24 ins. Very early. 10 for $1.25, 100 for $8.00.
