Standards white prominent bright gold veining, gold midrib; gold style arms and crests; falls bright gold veined darker, soft cream white lines around beard; white beard tipped bright gold. 'Heart Thumper' X 'Sunshine Boy'. Pleasure Iris 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #280 January 1991 Introducing GOLD NUGGET TREE-Sdlg. HD-8. IB 16" M. Four nuggets in bloom at times and a few buds to spare. The standards are cream white with dark gold veining extending from the bright gold midrib. Falls, style arms and crests are bright gold. A very narrow line of cream white extends from the white, tipped gold beards to the edge of falls. Best increaser in the garden. $15.00. Pleasant Iris Gardens.
