'Little Snow Lemon' (Gene Gaddie, R. 1981). Seedling #1-2. IB, 20" (51 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards snow white with lemon yellow radiating from greenish-based midrib; falls lemon yellow spot (lemon shaped), thinly edged. snow white; white beard tipped full orange. 'Buttercup Charm' X 'Peach Spot'. Gaddies' Gardens 1984. High Commendation 1982; Exhibition Certificate 1983; High Commendation 1983; Favorite Guest 1984; Honorable Mention 1986; Award of Merit 1988.

From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing LITTLE SNOW LEMON-Nothing like this in all Irisdom. Picture a bright yellow, half-sized lemon lying in crystal white snow, and you'll have the intense, clear, bright colors of the spot pattern on this excellently proportioned IB. White beards tipped full orange. Slender but sturdy 20" stalks have a nicely placed low branch and 5 buds. Especially vigorous bloomer and increaser with an exceptionally long season. Readily sets seed. Buttercup Charm X Peach Spot. EC '83, HC '82 &'83. $15.00. Gaddies' Gardens.
